The As to your Qs
Orders & Shipping
Once you place your order, please allow 1 to 4 business days (M-F) for us to gather your garments and get your package in the mail. You’ll receive an email with your tracking info as soon as your order ships.
Kindly note that orders placed after 4 PM Pacific Time on Friday will be processed and shipped the following week.
Once your order ships, you can expect it to arrive at your doorstep within 5 to 7 business days. All orders ship standard because it’s better for the environment.
To keep our carbon footprint in check, we currently only offer standard domestic shipping. Check out our process to learn more about how we reduce our impact and offset our carbon emissions.
We currently ship within the continental US. If you live somewhere else—hang tight, we’re just getting started! Join our email list to be the first to know when we expand our shipping.
We process orders as quickly as possible. If you made a mistake or changed your mind, email hello@esrathelabel.com with your order number ASAP and we’ll do our best to update your order before it enters the shipping queue. We can’t guarantee changes once an order is placed but rest assured, returns and exchanges are easy and free.
Once your package ships, it’s in the hands of USPS. If you received a shipment confirmation with tracking info from us but your package has gone MIA, we recommend contacting USPS to report it lost or stolen. We can’t assume liability after items ship.
If you never received a shipment confirmation email from us, contact hello@esrathelabel.com and we’ll be happy to help.
We’ve got you covered! Returns and exchanges are free for all unworn, unwashed items with tags still attached within 30 days of the original order date. All underwear and sale items are final sale. For more information and to start a return or exchange, click here.
Fit & Sizing
We currently carry all styles in sizes 28A through 42H and are always expanding to make sure no woman is left feeling stranded in the bra department. Don’t see your size? Shoot us an email at hello@esrathelabel.com so we can get it on the list.
If the size you currently wear fits well, start there. Chances are you’ll be the same size in Esra bras.
Keep in mind that because our bras are underwire-less, they provide a little more flexibility—without sacrificing any of the support. We also know it can take a couple of tries to find just the right size, which is why we offer free returns and exchanges. To start a return, click here.
The non-answer answer: as soon as we can. Truth is, fast fashion companies throw away about 92 million tons (that’s 184 billion pounds) of clothes each year.
We do things differently. As a slow fashion company, we base production on demand to avoid wasting over-produced products. Some of our colors are also limited runs based on which plant dyes are available and in season. So, if you see a style in a color you like, grab it while it’s available!
They sure do! All of our bras start with super-soft organic cotton and are colored using . The result is the same comfortable garment, in your choice of all-natural and non-toxic colors.
Product Care
Unlike that old pair of jeans you’ve been washing with your heavy-duty stuff on repeat, your bras appreciate a gentler touch.
To make your bras last as long as possible, hand wash and hang to dry. Bonus: it’s better for the environment. If washing by hand isn’t an option, pop your delicates in a Guppyfriend washing bag and machine wash with like colors in cold water. Always air dry.
Less is more—no need to wash after every wear! Our organic bamboo fiber lining is naturally antibacterial and helps keep things fresh and clean.
For sports bras, we recommend washing after every 2 to 3 wears (depending on how much of a sweat you break). For everyday bras, once every 3 to 4 wears does the trick.
Packaging & Materials
From start to finishing touches, we use all-natural and organic materials. Our bras are made with GOTS certified organic cotton jersey (90% cotton and 10% spandex) and lined with lightweight organic bamboo lining. Even our thread is 100% organic cotton.
Instead of metal underwire, we use biodegradable elastic (90% organic cotton and 10% latex rubber) to provide all the support without the discomfort. To give our bras a natural hue, we use organic plant dyes such as indigo, pomegranate, madder root, oak tannin, iron, acacia, and quebracho.
Yes! All of our fabrics and dyes are vegan. Heck, even our founder is vegan. This means no animals are harmed, exploited, or used in any way during the making of our products.
Naturally, all of our packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable—from product tags to shipping bags.
Sustainability
You bet we do! In fact, we’re a carbon neutral company. This means we offset all of our carbon emissions—from production and shipping to return processing.
Carbon emissions are an unavoidable cost of doing business but we do our best to use less and offset the rest. We calculate our annual average carbon emissions (plus some to err on the side of caution) and purchase carbon offsets with Terrapass—a company that funds projects that destroy greenhouse gasses and produce renewable energy throughout the USA. Our carbon offsets help to balance the emissions we can’t avoid by funding projects that reduce emissions elsewhere and into the future.
Great question! As a circular company, we take full responsibility for each garment we bring into the world—from conception to end of life. Here’s how it all goes down:
1. If your Esra bra has a tear or hardware mishap, email us for a pre-paid shipping label. Pop it in an envelope (preferably recycled) and send it our way. We’ll fix it right up and send it back.
2. All good things must come to an end. If your bra is damaged beyond repair, email us for a pre-paid shipping label, send it back, and we’ll hook you up with a credit for a new Esra bra. Your old bra will be recycled into a new bra and live on in spirit.
You can also request a pre-paid return label during checkout to send us your old bras. When you receive your new bra, simply place any old bras in the shipping bag, attach the pre-paid label, and drop off at your nearest USPS. We’ll donate or recycle your old bras on your behalf.
Company
All of our products are made in Chicago, Illinois by refugee and immigrant women at Blue Tin Production. You can learn more about our process here.
We’re founded and based in California, which gives us great access to some of the best fabrics and natural resources.
Not yet—but we’re working to open our Southern California office for personalized fittings. In the meantime, keep an eye out for pop-up shops across the USA. Our email subscribers are the first to know about upcoming events and news. Join The Collective to get first looks at what’s next.
Good Question! We carefully calculate our cost of production in order to make our products more accessible. We also produce limited quantities and pay to offset 100% of our carbon emissions, keeping our environmental impact low. Because of this, we don’t have a lot of excess product to put on sale.
The Collective is our email community. Subscribers get free domestic shipping on all orders, first looks at what’s next, sustainability tips to keep garments going strong, and behind the scenes access to community happenings. Want in?
